By booking a service with Thrifty Style Muse, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. General
1.1. These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Thrifty Style Muse.
1.2. Thrifty Style Muse reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
1.3. By using this website or booking a service, you confirm that you are over 18 years of age.

2. Wardrobe Edit Service
2.1. The Wardrobe Edit service includes:

A pre-session consultation call (approximately 30 minutes).

A two-hour in-home wardrobe edit to declutter and organise your clothing.

Guidance on selling, donating, and keeping items.
-
Advice on capsule wardrobe styling.
-
A follow-up email with personalised styling recommendations.
2.2. The service is designed for women aged 40+ who need support in curating a functional and stylish wardrobe.

3. Booking and Payment
3.1. The total cost of the Wardrobe Edit service is £150.
3.2. A non-refundable deposit of £75 is required at the time of booking, payable via bank transfer.
3.3. The remaining balance of £75 must be paid no later than the day before the scheduled session.
3.4. If payment is not received in full before the session, the appointment will be cancelled, and the deposit will not be refunded.

4. Travel Costs
4.1. The service includes travel within 5 miles of Melksham, Wiltshire.
4.2. Travel beyond this distance will incur an additional fee of 45p per mile.
4.3. For locations requiring over 45 minutes of travel time, an additional £30 fee applies.
4.4. Clients are responsible for covering parking or public transport costs where applicable.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
5.1. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the appointment can be rescheduled once at no additional cost.
5.2. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable.
5.3. If Thrifty Style Muse needs to cancel or reschedule, an alternative date will be offered. If a suitable alternative is not available, a full refund will be provided.

6. Selling and Commission
6.1. Clients may choose items which Thrifty Style Muse will sell on their behalf.
6.2. Thrifty Style Muse agrees to hold the items for a maximum duration of three months and will make every effort to sell them within this timeframe.
6.3. The client and Thrifty Style Muse will agree on a selling price in advance. A 25% commission will be applied, covering the selling service, packaging, and logistics required to deliver the item to a drop-off point.
6.4. The client acknowledges that buyers may submit offers. The client must confirm in advance whether offers can be accepted and, if so, agree on a minimum acceptable price.
6.5. Thrifty Style Muse is not liable for any loss or damage to items held for sale but will take all reasonable care to ensure they are kept in excellent condition and sold as seen on the day of collection.
6.6. It is the client’s responsibility to drop off/post items they wish Thrifty Style Muse to sell on their behalf to the address provided.
6.7. If at any point the client would like the items back or after three months if the items remain unsold, it is the client’s responsibility to collect or arrange collection of the items.
6.8. At no point is Thrifty Style Muse responsible for the collection, drop-off, or postage of items between the client’s home and Thrifty Style Muse's office.

7. Liability
7.1. Thrifty Style Muse is not responsible for any damage or loss of items during or after the wardrobe edit session.
7.2. Advice on styling, selling, and donating is given in good faith, but Thrifty Style Muse is not liable for any outcomes resulting from client decisions.
7.3. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their home environment is safe for the wardrobe edit session.

9. Social Media Marketing
9.1. Thrifty Style Muse may request the client’s consent to feature their wardrobe edit experience, including images, testimonials, or anonymised details, on its website, blog, and social media platforms.
9.2. The client has the right to accept or decline this request. No content featuring the client, their wardrobe, or their personal information will be shared without prior explicit consent.
9.3. If the client consents to social media or marketing content, they acknowledge that Thrifty Style Muse retains the right to use the agreed-upon material for promotional purposes indefinitely.
9.4. Should the client wish to withdraw their consent after publication, they may submit a written request to Thrifty Style Muse. While Thrifty Style Muse will make reasonable efforts to remove content from its own platforms, it cannot guarantee the removal of material that has been shared, reposted, or otherwise distributed by third parties.
9.5. Thrifty Style Muse will not tag, mention, or identify the client by name unless explicitly agreed in writing.

10. Data Protection & Privacy
10.1. Thrifty Style Muse is committed to protecting clients’ personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
10.2. Personal information collected from clients (including but not limited to name, contact details, and service preferences) is used solely for the purpose of providing wardrobe edit and styling services, processing payments, and communicating with the client regarding their booking.
10.3. Thrifty Style Muse will not share, sell, or disclose client data to third parties without prior consent, except where required by law.
10.4. Clients’ personal data will be stored securely for as long as necessary to fulfil the service or as required for legal or accounting purposes. After this period, data will be securely deleted.
10.5. Clients have the right to request access to their personal data, request corrections, or request deletion of their data by contacting Thrifty Style Muse via the contact details provided in these Terms and Conditions.
10.6. By booking a service with Thrifty Style Muse, clients consent to the collection and processing of their personal data in accordance with this clause and the website’s Privacy Policy.
