Brunch. Beats. And the best wardrobe refresh you’ve ever had.
Swap Society is back with round two, and we’re bringing all the feel-good vibes to Glove Factory Studios in Holt on Sunday 6 July. After a sell-out debut, we're levelling up. More rails, more curated gems, and a vibe that blends sustainable fashion with Wiltshire’s best brunch spot – Wild Herb at the Field Kitchen. Whether you’re new to the swapping scene or a secondhand style queen, this event is for you. So why do clothing swaps matter? And why is now the time to embrace them?

1. Fashion doesn’t have to cost the Earth
Let’s start with the facts. Every year in the UK, over 300,000 tonnes of clothing end up in landfill. That’s the equivalent of 30 Eiffel Towers’ worth of fashion going to waste. Globally, a truckload of textiles is landfilled or incinerated every second. It’s devastating. But here’s the good news: clothing swaps are a simple and powerful way to fight back. Events like ours keep great clothes in circulation, reduce demand for new fast fashion, and make sustainability feel creative and fun. When you shop secondhand, you’re not only reducing textile waste, you’re also cutting down on water use, emissions and energy. That’s a big impact for a small swap.
2. Swapping is the future of stylish, conscious living
This isn’t about sacrificing your style – far from it. In fact, many swappers find their best pieces this way. Clothing swaps let you refresh your wardrobe guilt-free, build a unique capsule wardrobe, and experiment without overconsuming. No impulse buys. No fast fashion regret. Just great pieces that have already proved their worth. At Swap Society, we’re building a community around this idea – where fashion is circular, conscious and joyful. Our Wiltshire swap events are designed to be more than a market – they’re an experience. Imagine crate-digging for vinyl, sipping oat flat whites, laughing with your best mates and walking away with a wardrobe full of new-to-you pieces. That’s what we’re about.
3. Local love + big impact
We’re proud to be two local women building something meaningful in our spare time. Gracie brings years of preloved retail expertise from Dorothy House, and I (Meagan) share daily style inspiration as Thrifty Style Muse. Together, we created Swap Society to show that secondhand can be stylish, social and seriously fun.
And we couldn’t do it without the venues that share our ethos. Hosting our next event at the stunning Glove Factory Studios in Holt, alongside Wild Herb Café, couldn’t be more perfect. They care about the planet, community, and creativity, just like us. If you’re into Wiltshire fashion, sustainable living or just fancy a different kind of Sunday, this event is calling your name.
So come swap with us. Come for the fashion, stay for the vibes – and let’s make conscious fashion the new norm.
